Deadville
Buidling a modular 28mm city for Dead walk Again
Written by:

Welcome to Deadville the town with a population if zero, at least the living part of the population. Deadville is your typical American midwestern town with long straight streets and square single level blocks. The only thing moving around the dusty streets are hordes of zombies. With other words not a nice place to spend your vacation.

The plan was to create a modular town for our Dead walk Again rules with the aim to use it at conventions/shows. I started sketching the layout of the town. Planning many different buildings and a bunch of different ways to place them. The project quickly grew out of proportion and the deadline for the next convention came closer I had to rethink. Even with a minimum of buildings and road sections and help from friends we nearly made it. So the first lesson is plan ahead, make it small and be realistic.
The first edition of the town only had four buildings and they took ages to build. My suggestion is to start with one or two buildings. You'll see how much work it takes and you see if you think it's worth it.
